yup. i'm back. again. I"M SORRY FOR NOT WRITINGGG D: well you see, i have a really good excuse. i've been busy (: since i havent written in five whole days, i probably don't remember everything that has happened so i'll give you a condensed version of it, kay?
saturday.
i went out to southern cross to chill with some people...it felt like a different world. no offence to people who do this, but in my old world, the worst people got in my old world was 'omg he drinks beer' or 'omg he smokes'. but now, in this new world, i hear about people getting drunk, people staying out, people getting belly piercings, people smoking heaps and people taking drugs. it's not like i shun them or something, it just scares me about how different these two worlds are, and that i'm slowly being exposed to the newer one...a more dangerous world that i've ever been in before... anyway, these friends of mine aren't like, evil or anything, i guess what they do is just... daring? i know they're really kind people, it's just that sometimes i can't get over the fact what they think is 'fun'...i guess it proves i discriminate against others though i try not to... anyway, apart from that, i went to box hill with my friends and walked around while half of the group went to get lighting for the white party on sunday ;D i guess nothing much interesting happened, just me getting exposed to this unchartered world...
and after hearing that there might be drugs at the white party on sunday, i got so worried... like i knew that there be alcohol, and i know definitely that i wouldn't drink or anything, i was just worried that the cops might show up and cause a scene...which might relay back to my parents...then i would be in serious crap. so i debated for a long long time, went and got opinions from my friends, and decided to go anyway, cause apparently the cops wouldnt just randomly come and arrest us... but i still had those nervous butterflies for the whole day...
sunday.
the day of the white partyyyy ;D i managed to get a ride from a friend i met at scotch from human relations :) and so, i tried on cherry's white dress and made some adjustments to the dress, turning it into a strapless :) my pro skills using safety pins ;D too bad i didnt take a picture... maybe i will when im bothered x] i could actually fit the dress into my bag, and so i carried the dress in my bag and changed in hungry jacks, which was where i was getting my ride xD something made my day though, and it went something along the lines of this. well i didn't have enough change on me for the bus and the driver didnt have change either. so i was like crap. and then this hardcore looking girl came on the bus with all these piercings and everything, and guess what? she actually payed for my ticket! it totally made my day :) and when i got to box hill bus station, i saw this advertisement, which made me laugh ;D
it's hard to have a gay time on your own ;D AHAHHAHA.
but when i got to hungry jacks, it was soooo weird, cause the moment i stepped out of the toilet, everyone stared at me because my outfit was completely white, including my shoes and bag xD but thank god i waited until my friend, nick, was already there, so i just walked straight out of hungry jacks XD it was a tad bit awkward in the car cause his mom was there, but i reckon his mom was pretty cool :) she was in charge of helping out, so she assured me she'd have us both out if things got dodgy XD i ended up having a pretty good night though i was kinda shy at the start and i was constantly worried my dress was gonna fall off, but still, i got to get to know some girls from my school better :) but thank god i was with amy and sally, so it was all good cause i know them xD i didnt have dinner, but i had 4 cups of orange juice to last me through the night XDDDDDD after the party, i just crashed at sally's :) we talked for a bit but eventually drifted off to sleep, so it was pretty fun though the sleepover itself wasn't long xD
monday.
i went to boxhill to catch the bus to shoppo for gayfung's birthday hangout :) i thought i was going to be late, but i actually ended up being one of the first people that got there :\ well the people who went that day was me, cherry, melvin, nick, terence, marina, mark, yinning, laikiu and megan :) it was a tad bit awkward at the start since the group was so big, but we went to watch blind side, which is about this poor black kid who's dad died and who's mom is a druggie but gets adopted by this white family and goes on to be an awesome footballer. it was so sentimental :'D i teared a bit, but every time i sniffed, laikiu, who was sitting next to me, stared at me. i was just like WTH NO IM NOT CRYING :'| we ate heaps of crap, like chocolate and chips we bought from safeway, so it was a pretty good day ;D after that, we just chilled and bummed around.
but there was this SUPER FUNNY moment. we (me, cherry, megan, nick, terence and laikiu) were standing in teh sun, waiting for the bus, so i decided to move into the shade. then gayfung was like AHHHAHAHA LONER. so megan (ily megan) came to my side, and cherry came over too xD and then nick went over to the other side, but instead of joining nick, terence and laikiu joined me instead ;D AHAHAHHA PWNAGEEEEEEEEE. after that, i took heaps of pictures of nick being a loner (:

and this bus is pretty funny huh? it's supposed to be called the Manningham Mover but instead, it turned into this...

well during the night, crap just happened, but thank god we managed to fix it...i just hate it when things happen and friendships break, leaving everyone depressed and clueless. but anyway, all the problems kinda cleared up, and the two groups fighting kinda made up :)
tuesday.
stayed in all day to do work, cause im a good girl. i actually resisted the invitation to a karaoke hangout with carmen, jane, nasa, mich and kathy cause i actually felt bad for going out everday the holidays started...didn't get much done though.
wednesday.
my mommy came :) it felt sooooooooo weird seeing her, but i was super happy at the same time ;D we went out for a bit to the pines and she bought me these super cute ugg boots from target :) they were so expensive, so i felt really bad, but i really do love them > < hmm what else? not much. we looked at shoes for a bit cause cherry needed white heels for her deb...i wish my school had a deb :( well i have a formal coming up, except i dont know who to ask to go with me...im not even sure if i want to go cause its soooooo damn expensive... sigh. we also made cookies and brownies, they were sooooooo good. yet so fattening, cause we had icecream AND the cookies we made. but me, so yummy ^ ^
thursday.
woke up at 8:30 to finish work...and i actually managed to! after finishing my homework, i went to shoppo with cherry for a lil window shopping :) we just went to stores and tried on random clothes XD cotton on was 50% off, so i got a nice top and a scarf for $25 :D

as you know, i'm charmaine and i'm from hong kong (hk ftw!) but i go to all girls boarding school in melbourne. if you check my blog often,

i kinda like a little bit of everything. i like listening to korean songs, japanese songs, chinese/canto songs and also english songs.
yeah i know i'm pretty weird since i like asian stuff and english stuff, but i guess thats just the way i am x]
but there's one thing that i don't like, and thats metal. (i call it screamo LOL) sorry for all you people out there who like it,
but let me just say im not a big fan of it, kay?
tv shows, movies, etc
i like to watch anime, asian dramas and english tv shows! as i have said before, yeah i'm like asian and white at the same time in terms of personality LOL
i've kinda stopped watching anime since i don't want to get addicted (which i have in the past), and same goes for asian dramas and english tv shows.
yeah i know, pretty sad, life without tv, but i never seem to find the time to drag myself up to sit in front of the tv in the games room.
i like watching uber sad stuff or uber funny stuff, and i really really like romance :] (yes, i'm still waiting for my knight in shining armour)
and when the movie is sad, i cry my eyes out. call me emo, but i like crying. i reckon it lets out all the stress, all the things that you can't tell people about.
it gives you an excuse to cry.
